How okbe Keeps You Protected

Responsible gaming isn't just a checkbox for us — it's built into every layer of the okbe platform. Here's what we put in place for every Filipino player.

Age Verification

Every okbe account goes through strict KYC verification. No one under 21 years old can register, deposit, or play — full stop.

Deposit Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps on your okbe account. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets.

Self-Exclusion

Need a break? Activate a self-exclusion period — from 30 days up to permanent exclusion. Your account is locked immediately with no way to reverse it early.

Reality Checks

okbe sends you session time reminders so you always know how long you've been playing. A quick nudge goes a long way toward staying mindful.

What Does Responsible Gaming Mean at okbe?

For most players across Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Quezon City, online gaming at okbe is exactly what it should be — a fun, exciting way to unwind after a long day. Slots, bingo, fishing games, live casino tables — it's entertainment, plain and simple. But okbe also recognises that for a small number of players, gambling can shift from a hobby into something harder to manage.

Responsible gaming means playing with full awareness: knowing your budget before you start, treating losses as the cost of entertainment rather than money to chase back, and recognising when it's time to step away. okbe's role is to give you every tool and piece of information you need to make those decisions confidently.

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) sets the regulatory framework for responsible gaming in the Philippines, and okbe operates in alignment with those standards. We take our obligations seriously — not just because the rules require it, but because our players deserve a platform that genuinely looks out for them.

Whether you're a casual player who logs in a few times a week or a more regular visitor to the okbe casino, the same protections apply to you. Our responsible gaming tools are available to every registered account, free of charge, and can be activated at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.

Golden Rule: Gambling at okbe should always be funded from your disposable income — money you can afford to lose without affecting your daily needs, rent, bills, or family responsibilities. Never gamble with borrowed money or funds set aside for essentials.

Strict Age Policy — No Exceptions

Philippine Law & okbe Policy: Online casino gambling in the Philippines is strictly restricted to individuals who are 21 years of age or older. This is a hard legal requirement, not a guideline. okbe enforces this without exception.

During registration, every okbe player must submit a valid government-issued ID — such as a Philippine National ID, passport, SSS card, or driver's licence — to confirm their identity and date of birth. Accounts that cannot be verified as 21+ are permanently rejected.

If okbe discovers at any point that an account holder is under 21, the account is immediately suspended, all funds are frozen pending review, and the matter is escalated in accordance with PAGCOR guidelines. Any winnings generated by an underage account are forfeited.

Parents and guardians: If you share a device with younger family members, please ensure your okbe account is protected with a strong, unique password and that you log out after every session. Do not share your login credentials with anyone.

Self-Exclusion & Limit Controls

okbe gives you direct control over your gaming activity. These tools are available in your account settings at any time — no waiting period, no questions asked.

Temporary Self-Exclusion

Lock your okbe account for a set period — 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, or 6 months. During this time, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. The exclusion cannot be lifted early.

Permanent Self-Exclusion

Choose to permanently close your okbe account. This is irreversible. Your account data is retained for regulatory purposes but you will never be able to reopen or create a new account using the same identity.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum deposit amount per day, week, or month in Philippine Peso (₱). Reducing your limit takes effect immediately; increasing it requires a 7-day cooling-off period.

Session Time Limits

Define how long a single gaming session can last. When your time is up, okbe will notify you and, if you choose, automatically log you out so you can take a proper break.

Loss Limits

Cap the total amount you can lose within a given period. Once your loss limit is reached, okbe will prevent further wagering until the period resets — protecting your bankroll automatically.

Take a Break

Not ready for full self-exclusion? Use the "Take a Break" feature to pause your account for 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days. Quick, easy, and effective for cooling off.

How to Activate: All responsible gaming tools are accessible from your okbe account dashboard under Settings > Responsible Gaming. You can also request activation by contacting our support team directly at support@okbe.app — our team will process your request within 24 hours.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can develop gradually — it doesn't always look like what you'd expect. Many players in the Philippines who struggle with gambling-related harm don't realise it until the impact on their finances, relationships, or mental health becomes significant.

okbe encourages all players to check in with themselves regularly. If any of the signs below feel familiar — whether for yourself or someone you care about — please reach out for support. There's no shame in asking for help, and the sooner you do, the easier it is to get back on track.

If you recognise three or more of these signs in your own behaviour, we strongly encourage you to use okbe's self-exclusion tools or seek professional support immediately.

Spending more than you planned to
Chasing losses to win back money
Gambling with money meant for bills or family

Feeling restless or irritable when not gambling
Borrowing money to fund gambling sessions
Neglecting work, school, or family responsibilities
Gambling to escape stress, anxiety, or depression
Failed attempts to cut back or stop gambling
Thinking about gambling constantly throughout the day
Selling personal belongings to fund gambling
Feeling guilt or shame after a gambling session

Quick Check-In: Are You Playing Responsibly?

Honest answers to these questions can help you gauge your relationship with gambling. This is not a clinical diagnostic tool — it's a starting point for reflection.

01

Do you set a budget before you start playing, and do you stick to it even when you're on a losing streak?

02

Can you stop playing and walk away comfortably when you've reached your time or money limit for the session?

03

Do you view gambling purely as entertainment — accepting that losses are the price of the experience, not money to be recovered?

04

Are you gambling only with money from your disposable income, with no impact on your rent, bills, groceries, or family needs?

05

Are the people close to you — family, friends, partner — aware of your gambling activity and comfortable with the amount of time and money you spend?

06

Have you gone at least a week without gambling in the past month without feeling anxious, irritable, or preoccupied?

If you answered "No" to two or more questions: It may be worth taking a closer look at your gambling habits. Consider using okbe's deposit limits or self-exclusion tools, or speaking with a professional counsellor. You can also contact our support team — we're here to help, not to judge.

Tips for Keeping Gaming Fun

Set a Budget First

Decide exactly how much you're willing to spend before you open the okbe app. Treat it like a night out — once the budget's gone, the session ends.

Watch the Clock

It's easy to lose track of time when you're enjoying a good session. Use okbe's session reminders or set an alarm on your phone before you start playing.

Play for Fun, Not Profit

The house always has an edge — that's how casinos work. Enjoy okbe's games as entertainment, not as a strategy to make money or solve financial problems.

Take Regular Breaks

Step away from the screen regularly. Grab a snack, stretch, chat with someone. A clear head makes for better decisions — both in gaming and in life.

PAGCOR & Responsible Gaming in the Philippines

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is the government body responsible for regulating and licensing gambling operations in the Philippines. PAGCOR has established a comprehensive responsible gaming framework that all licensed operators are required to follow — and okbe takes these obligations seriously.

PAGCOR's responsible gaming programme includes player protection standards, self-exclusion registries, and guidelines for identifying and assisting players who may be experiencing gambling-related harm. okbe aligns its internal policies with PAGCOR's standards to ensure every Filipino player is protected.

If you wish to self-exclude across all PAGCOR-licensed gaming establishments — not just okbe — you can register with PAGCOR's national self-exclusion programme. This means your exclusion applies to all licensed casinos and online platforms in the Philippines, giving you a broader safety net.

For more information on PAGCOR's responsible gaming initiatives, player protection resources, and the national self-exclusion registry, visit the official PAGCOR website or contact PAGCOR directly through their official channels.

PAGCOR Responsible Gaming: The national self-exclusion programme covers all PAGCOR-licensed gaming venues and online platforms across the Philippines. Registering with PAGCOR's programme is separate from — and in addition to — okbe's own self-exclusion tools.
